How we work

We provide individual coaching, organizational change consulting, team building and training based on three components: emotional intelligence, attitudinal energy, and cognitive behavioral leadership.  These three components, when used holistically, provide a strong foundation for a client to understand how their mind works and how it is connected to the body, where they are being blocked, discover resources, tools, and a mindset to create immediate change.

Emotional Intelligence: People and teams who have higher emotional intelligence are more productive, happier, and creative.  We examine the four quadrants of self awareness, self management, social awareness, and relationship management and look for ways to apply it to you individual situation.  

 

Attitudinal Energy: We examine a person's or team's core attitudinal energy to determine blocks to performance and fulfillment in work and life and how the knowledge of those blocks can lead to lasting change of our attitude and resulting actions.

 

Cognitive Behavioral Leadership (CBL): We use the tenets of CBL theory to help a client visualize the path their emotions and thoughts take when acting on a situation or feeling.  By understanding this path, clients can then determine how their emotional states or thoughts can influence how they act, how others perceive them, and how to navigate difficult situations.

What we do

Coaching and Consulting

Individual Coaching: At our core, we are coaches.  We believe the greatest change and potential comes from an individual acting as part of a greater whole.  When working with individuals, we focus on tools to help our clients take immediate action toward their coaching goals.  When a client is able to take immediate action after a session, they are more likely to see the outcome they desire. 

 

Executive Coaching: Executives and leaders have the added job of finding the way forward and leveraging an organization's strategies and values to achieve organizational outcomes.  In order to lead others according to a set of values, it is helpful to clarify one’s own.  Through those values one can lead in an emotionally intelligent, energetic, and inspiring manner.  Approach your executive and personal lives as an integrated whole.  Achieve measurable performance in your professional life and feelings of connection and purpose in your personal life. 

 

Leadership Development: Hone you own leadership skills for advancement or change.  Develop internal leaders to grow your organization.  One on one or cohort-based programs available.

Organizational and Culture Change: When we see and have an emotional reaction to a situation, we are more likely to change.  Thinking about it and analyzing is important but rarely gets it done alone.  Set up change intentionally, message it to the heart and the head, show the benefits on a small scale, evaluate, adjust, and scale to the need.    

Adventure Coaching - Ready to take it to the next level?

Skills and Mindset Coaching - Mike is rock climber, mountaineer, skier, avid cyclist, and trail runner.  He's been an active outdoor athlete for 30 years.  Want to climb a grade or two higher?  Want to ski those blacks at the resort?  A little twitchy coming into a fast tight corner on your mountain bike?  He can help you combine the skills and mindset needed to take your performance to the next level of difficulty, fun, and flow.
